Egg nog

You know what grinds my gears....EGG NOGG....It is my least favorite nog, and it has to be the most disgusting drink on the earth...its like drinking mayonnaise with a Little nutmeg and rum to disguise the fact that its just a bunch of egg whites and Christmas spirit whipped together in a frothy drink of death. And while I am taking about egg nog lets talk Christmas, why do I have to listen to the same old ass Christmas songs in every store I go into, on the radio 24 hours a day. In the past this wouldn't start till the first maybe second week in December, well thanks to big business trying to squeeze every cent that I am not forking over to big oil, I have to be bombarded with Christmas spirit staring the day after Halloween, it makes me sick. Christmas has been taken over by faceless, profit driven corporate suits, and we no longer remember what the holiday is about, friends, family, be grateful we have these things, oh and yeah something about a baby, a start and a manger. So as you sit in holiday traffic, and drag yourself to the mall at eleven pm on a Sunday, just think that it doesn't have to be this way.

Downloadable audiobooks!

The next step in electronic books is downloadabe audio and ebooks, this service lets you download and borrow audio and ebooks, this is a great ervice for me bacause there are times at random parts of the day and night when I get the urge to read something and now I can do that whenever I want, we have a great selection now avaliable!!

iTunes

While there are many programs for listening to podcasts, I prefer iTunes, I think its is the best audio software avaliable, for podcasts, mp3, and video, and the itunes store allowys you to find anything you need.

Open office

Worried about the high costs of Microsoft office, well worry no longer there is an open source free version of Word, excel, and powerpoint. Its called open office, and is avaliable at openoffice.org and avaliable for both mac and PC.

Ever get overwelmed by the thousands of results that come up when ever you do a google serch. Well with Rollyo you can narrow down those results before you even start, and only look at sites that you trust or that will give you the best results.

Another awsome site that has changed the way I use the internet. During the course of a day I can be at four to five diffrent computers and I dont always remember the address of my favorite sights, well del.icio.us has changed that. I now have access to my favorate bookmarks anywhere I go!! This is great for public computers that you cant save bookmarks to and for places were you may be using a diffrent computer each time. And if that was good enough, there are always links to new site that I never knew were out there or would think of serching for.

Bloglines

HEre is a sight that I have been using for a while now and I love it. It puts all the things I check on a daily basis in one site. No longer do I have to click around to a dozen sites to check the news, weather, gosip, astrology, sports scores and all that fun stuff that keeps me glued to the computer for hours each day.

What a great site!! After I added one book I just kept going and going, trying to think of all the books that I have read and I didnt even get close to them all but now I have a way to quickly find out some of the books I have read

Better late than never

For the past few months I have been working on these 23 things but I have been slacking on the blogging, too buzy with other projects, other blogs and rambling about random things that come across my mind, if you have read any of the earlier posts you know what I mean. Now that its down to the wire its time to get going, I need the looming deadline to get me going. just like school. Well I have been doing thing for the 23 things but have slacked on the blogging so here we go....tngs may be out of order at times but I think by the end we can figure this out!!

YOu knwo what Grinds my gears....boys wearing their sisters jeans. You have seen those kids, with shaggy hair cut to look like they have not had a haircut in three years, jeans two sizes too small, usally on a skateboard, or more likey falling off a skateboard and crying in the middle of the street. Well you know what you need to get a haircut and buy some clothes that fit and stop trying so hard to look like you dont care about anything.

Atomic Weapons

You know what grinds my gears...Atomice Weapons it has been 61 years since the UNited Staes dopped the first one Atomic bombs and not another once since, you would think that by now someone would have started armageden with a nice homemade bomb. Once I tried to make one but ended up with cats that glow in the dark and free power for the next twenty years. Well that what grinds my gears this hour but you never know what I could think of next.

Today

You know what ginds my gears.....Iphones....mostly that I don't have one. Its too dang expensive and you have to use AT&T service which sucks. So will some one please give me and Iphone?? I am looking at you Steve Jobs, unless you want some upset iphone-less fan boy trashing your amazing life changing peace of equipment than, you need to send me one and I will do nothing but say good things about it!
